Sony CPD-E200
With top-of-the-line features and display characteristics, the Sony CPD-E200 is one of the few monitors that can handle a resolution of 1600x1200. Featuring an aperture grille picture tube, this monitor provided access to the screen and colour controls through the onscreen display, for changing parameters like pin balancing, colour temperature control, horizontal and vertical convergence and raster rotation. The image quality in the convergence test proved to be very sharp, with the details of the horizontal and vertical patterns displaying correctly in all areas of the raster. The grid pattern for measuring screen geometry was displayed correctly, with no anomalies in the horizontal and vertical aspects.
